I'm a startup CEO coach and I was able to speak at techcrunch. Disrupt on this topic of startup exits the good, the bad and the ugly attending techcrunch disrupt really helped us connect with startup founders, investors, luminaries and the press. As a frequent conference speaker, I attend many events each year. Techcrunch stands head and shoulders above most other startup events because it has a size scale and reach to allow attendees to make high value connections. I run two companies, fund startups dot com and venture validator dot com. And we've gotten more visibility from techcrunch than any other startup conference.

I thought the event was really well put together, really enjoyed the speakers that the organization was really well done. overall, really nice event. Thought some of the networking activities could have been, um, a little bit more intentional but otherwise thought, um, the event was great.

the general impression was very positive. It was a lot of people who were, I was a, I was an exhibitor. So maybe that's important. So it was a great opportunity to talk to many junior people, but also potential leads that can, that we can maybe transform into our clients in the future. So, yeah, I, I'm really looking forward to what's gonna come out of it.

What did you like best about the event?
I enjoyed the quality of the speakers and the breakout room - spaces to have deep conversations and widen perspective.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I think the venue was relatively small for the amount of people. Many of the scenarios were too crowded.

Everyone was very helpful in getting me to where I needed to be on time. I was injured and in a knee scooter, which was very smooth. I appreciate all the help!

Great experience! Good to be back in person again!
What did you like best about the event?
The very efficient organization behind the stage as a speaker. Great tech support. I appreciate the international representation.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The mobile app left some things to be desired. I would love to see more opportunities for founders to connect with investors in structured formats—speed dating, etc. Looking for the green badge is not great.

Disrupt puts you at the forefront of tech innovation.
What did you like best about the event?
I loved the exhibit hall. It was terrific to see such a variety of startups across various industries tackling some of the world's most pressing problems with innovative approaches. The panels and speaker lists were well crafted, too -- the talk with the Cruise CEO/Founder was my favorite. The production quality of the speeches was of the highest caliber, too.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Some of the moderators seemed to be asking "gotcha" questions in pursuit of getting a soundbite. I'm all for asking tough questions, but not when the questions seem gratuitous or unfair. I also found it hard to network with relevant companies because of how broad the event was.
