Intense two days packed with great meetings and learnings.
What did you like best about the event?
The quality of the startups and funds attending, the number of people at the event, the app, the ability to schedule 1:1 meetings, and the quality of the panels and the speakers.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
1/ Crowd management at the entrance: the line took too much time, and we all entered late because of that. 2/ the huge gap between VIP vs non VIP experience. 3/ Food onsite: it took way too much time to get some food (1h to get a pizza), and the price in the cafe within 104 is a pure rip-off (8€ for a coke + a slice of cake?). Also, coffee was provided but no breakfast :( (again, comparing to similar cleantech events) You can really feel when you are a simple attendee vs a corporate sponsor, and it doesn't feel nice at all. Others events don't show such a stark difference between attendees & sponsors. It looked like a Safran/Natixis event. I'm mentioning this because I had a meeting with a startup first-day first thing in the morning, and we had no idea where to sit down to meet. The first seats we could see were in the corporate spaces, and of course, we got shooed away very dryly. We only found the 1:1 tables at level -1 much later.

Amazing experience in the heart of deep-tech ventures.
What did you like best about the event?
The quality of the startups. The speakers. The international environment. The feeling of hope for a better future. The amazing location.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
At the moment, I do not have any improvement to suggest. I think it was very well organised.

It was indeed a new opportunity for me to be a part of the ecosystem and have the chance to meet and speak with a couple of successful people there.
What did you like best about the event?
Building a professional network before starting a job can increase opportunities for career advancement and create valuable connections, and it was the thing I could find at the global summit.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
As a recommendation, there was no vegan food provided, which caused volunteers some problems since some of the speakers were not entirely happy.
