"The electric, engaging, expertise-filled, re-boot I needed! "

The detail put into each day was felt as an attendee, and the fun energy was electric and contagious!

"Inspiring w/ Lots of Resources"

I only attended the Expo, but I was impressed with the quality of companies represented and the people who attended. The organizers did a great job. I also liked the offline experience with the Slack group.

"Always a good look to be in the community."

I loved seeing so many companies that are still building products. That was dope!

I am so incredibly proud and amazed at the DC start up and Tech Week team. I, I have no idea how this small team pulls off a week of such game changing energy. I am a speaker. This is my second year speaking, my fourth year attending. And I have to say, first of all, as a speaker, the VIP treatment is just superb starting with the layer of communication that we get weeks out ahead of the event, the constant updates, the VIP speaker happy hours, which are just a wonderful opportunity to meet the other people that will be speaking and engage with just more intimacy. And then just the week, I mean, from the moment you walk in, I just felt even just as a speaker, incredibly welcomed, the new branding and marketing just felt very fun and ready to make business happening, you know, happen the the schedule. I actually found myself using the online app that sketch app to, to preplan on days that I thought I would be there. I was able to quickly look at the app and see any live updates and then switch my schedule around. So I really love being able to preplan which sessions I would go to and then just the kindness. I mean, the folks that are in these rooms are multimillionaire. Some of them incredible innovators and their ability to see what is happening in front of them. Take an intentional pause and a mindful break to talk to a fellow entrepreneur about an idea was it was happening left and right, not just my experience, but even as I looked around, it was just, it was constant business happening and fun business. So hands down, you know, not super nerd it out like it was fun. Cool people there. the tasty food, the little treats, the sponsored happy hours. It's just I look forward to this every year and I cannot wait to see what the heck this team does in 2025. What a great time. Thank you team.

We had such a great time participating in DC startup week, both as a sponsor and as participants and really look forward to being a part of it next year.

DC startup week is the single most exciting event on D CS annual startup calendar. I look forward to it every single year. I deeply appreciate how tailored it is to each stage of the startup life cycle. Ensuring you always know exactly which sessions will provide maximum benefit for you no matter where you are along your journey. I'm especially grateful that the team cares so much about inclusion, whether it be including diverse voices throughout the programming or the continued inclusion of remote and live streamed sessions for those of us who are disabled or immunocompromised. DC is already in the top five for cities in the nation that cares most about diversity and venture capital and DC startup week is definitely leading the way on the charge of inclusion, equity and representation. Thank you so much to the entire team for putting in so much work to put this event on every year and keep it free for everybody. Thank you so much.

Always a good look to be in the community.
What did you like best about the event?
I loved seeing so many companies that are still building products. That was dope!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I think that there's something about working with the production company, to support speakers to get them speaker's reels would be a massive value add. AI tools would allow them to do this quickly while offering a massive amount of value to them.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Maybe a social media wall, but that would only be icing because otherwise the event was good.

What did you like best about the event?

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Nothing comes to mind; oh, maybe breath mints added as a "mini gift". With all the talking, I found myself popping my mints to stay feeling fresh! Branded DCSW mints!
