Chicago Build is a pretty exciting event taking place at mccormick Place. Great vendors there with new products that you can see get samples of. So that was, that was pretty nice aspect of the event. Also, the speaking panels had really good speakers from practices around Chicago. So a really good event if you're in the construction industry in the Chicago area.

Good event with experienced panelists and speakers.
What did you like best about the event?
New products by vendors from the Midwest. It is nice to have products that do not have to be shipped from China.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Provide a designated moderator for the panel discussions. Our panel had a self-nominated moderator and ended up working out well, but we didn't know we had to organize that ourselves.

What did you like best about the event?
Ease of navigation. It wasn’t hard to get to where I wanted to go. I would have liked to attend in person. If more HVAC reps are there next year I probably will.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More HVAC representation. It’s not your fault that if you reached out to Daikin, Carrier, Trane, and Lennox, they didn't attend.

Good, just very loud.
What did you like best about the event?
The exhibitors were great and diverse. The location is good to get to, and parking is easy. I liked the power outlets at the tables.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The event is too loud. While I was presenting, I could not hear all the questions.

I always look forward to attending the Build Shows - high value for your time!
What did you like best about the event?
As a speaker, I enjoy (2) things: 1) getting to meet/present with a diverse panel of industry experts whom I can continue conversations with afterward, and 2) the audience. I've never experienced a shy/quiet crowd. There are always good questions/dialogues coming from the talks that spill over after time, which leads to valuable connections.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I was a late addition to the speaking roster. As such, it was very difficult to arrange travel: flight options at the last minute were a headache, and worse, all the reasonably priced nearby hotels were entirely sold out; thus, I incurred a lot of cost/time lost, transporting myself to/from the event. Next year, if speakers get more notice, we could arrive in style and prepare more beforehand to offer even better panels.

Overall, it is a great experience for professionals in the construction area.
What did you like best about the event?
The women's panel got a standing ovation, showing how much women are and should be integrated into the construction world.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Give a more inclusive role to the ambassadors than just serving as connections to invite people; give them some type of event participation.

I had an amazing experience presenting as a speaker and networking.
What did you like best about the event?
Networking and learning about new technology products and meeting new people. I enjoyed presenting.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
There was more noise level at the speaker panels. Perhaps some sound barriers can be created for clarity. It was difficult to hear.
