"It was goal driven. Filled with positive networking and educational strategy. "

Educating and learning from others. I enjoyed the educational sessions, and the ability to share information in a meaningful way.

"Felt a little disconnected"

The keynote speaker, Dr. Berry, was exceptional. I also liked the fishbowl concept. I liked that ASHE tried something new, and it seemed like a good way to have a conversation about a topic.

"I look forward to speaking again next year"

All was perfect. I look forward to speaking again next year and sending an abstract.

Great event to learn, network, and have fun.
What did you like best about the event?
Well run event, great logistics, nice location, modern convention center, and very fun block party.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Spread out the educational sessions more. Maybe reduce the duration of the afternoon general sessions to accommodate.

I loved the opportunity to be on the discovery stage talking to a large group of attendees.
What did you like best about the event?
Flow of the show was great - plenty of folks stopped by to say hello - several were existing clients.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The amount of lunches was a shock - the event ran out both days before everyone could eat. Also, having educational sessions during the trade show took away from the amount of attendees we could talk to.

Excellent, no more to add
What did you like best about the event?
Room Audio and the limited number of attendees were very attentive; no more to say
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The room set up was odd; people found it difficult to choose between "rows" and "rounds"; the people at the round tables actually fell asleep (time of day issues)

Felt a little disconnected
What did you like best about the event?
The keynote speaker, Dr. Berry, was exceptional. I also liked the fishbowl concept. I liked that ASHE tried something new, and it seemed like a good way to have a conversation about a topic.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The venue wasn't that great. It seemed disconnected between the presentations and the expo. It seemed like it went from "The ASHE EVENT" to an "ASHE event." To kick off the HCFI vs. the ASHE Annual Conference, it didn't have the punch we've seen in the past. I think that's in part due to the venue. Although Dr. Berry was great, we've had Gene Krantz and Brian Shul kick things off. The AI session, I wished I would have gone to the hotel room for a nap. That was a big miss for me. Hopefully others got something from that session. In the past there have been extras for attendees (with a cost), like the Indy car experience in Indianapolis or the Aquarium in Chicago or one time there was a dinner in Disney for one in Aneheim. I'm sure those things are a pain logistically, but, it was fun. It made the conference a family activity. This one seemed all business in a disappointing conference center.

What did you like best about the event?
Educating and learning from others. I enjoyed the educational sessions, and the ability to share information in a meaningful way.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The worst part of the event was the venue. The event organizers had the tradeshow floor open while educational classes were being attended by hospitals. Some of the exhibitors could not attend the classes as a result or didn't get any traffic flow or leads. I wont be exhibiting next year due to this, and will just attend full conference to make the best out of my experiences by walking around.
