It was a super valuable experience. It was also my first experience at South by Southwest. First of all, I now understand why Twitter and Airbnb use South by Southwest to take off. I also learned that like talking to people 90% of the direct to consumer startups today use waiting lists to launch. And at the same time, it was a great opportunity to meet all coworkers coming into town and being originally from Europe was cool to see so many European professional coming to Austin for this event. It really gives you the value of this festival and this conference. And generally, I guess opportunities at South by Southwest are everywhere.

Life changing experience at SXSW 2022
What did you like best about the event?
I found the event to be incredibly well organized, thought provoking, and intellectually stimulating. Not to mention the 24/7 covid testing was highly reassuring.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The app was a bit convoluted and made planning your schedule ahead of time difficult.

Glad to be back in Austin!
What did you like best about the event?
Reconnected with old friends and colleagues. Inspiring mix of content. Got to see speakers and panels if never be able to see at another conference.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Give more thought to competing sessions. Too many times there were similar things that should have been stacked and not against each other.

Opportunities are everywhere!
What did you like best about the event?
Networking opportunities were the best part of SXSW. Given how many professionals flew into Austin from all over the place, it was easy to establish new relationship in a very friendly, southern hospitality vibe environment.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Not sure about this. It was my first SXSW event so hard to say but I hope to have more feedback next year.

Mayor Suarez from Miami. He is an example of how the government should work with startups.

SxSW 2022 allowed me to see the future while reaffirming my connection with people IRL.
What did you like best about the event?
The speakers and participants were amazing. There was so much to learn and see and do from Lizzo to NFTs to Pray Parker. I felt as wowed as ever!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I wish there were more affordable places to stay -- ended up cancelling with SXSW places because of roach reviews and staying in North Austin as a result.

Many to choose from and yet, I need to stay with Amy Webb who blows my mind every time she presents!

It was a whirlwind!
What did you like best about the event?
The film festival and how prestigious it has become. It was an honor to have worked on a film premiering at SXSW.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It's still a little bit difficult to get around to the different locations, a lot of the restaurants seemed to close quite early.

Overall great event and the platform makes the virtual experience easy.
What did you like best about the event?
Great mix of attendees and networking opportunities. I also really enjoyed the online platform which, as a virtual attendee, I lived in during the course of the event.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The virtual experience could be better improved. I was hoping that this year, the communication tools would have improved from last year, but they seem to be overall the same. Mostly decent, but at times less than acceptable connectivity/call quality. It would also be great if organizers can integrate calendars in the future for easier availability marking.

Delighted at being at the global intersection of design, tech, entertainment, and culture.
What did you like best about the event?
I liked all of the different programming and activations - there was almost TOO much going on. Everything was pretty centralized, which was nice. Most speakers really were experts in their craft(s).
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Further vetting of some of the sessions. I would say 98% of them were fantastic, but there were a few that felt as though they could have benefited from more prep. The app could have also been better - I found it to be a bit glitchy and the attendance meter was very off in more instances, I wasn't notified when I received new messages so I missed a lot of connections :/ - if chosen to be part of the advisory board, I would be happy to provide all of the in depth notes I toke on every session.

An absolute blast- loved connecting with audience members, cross-pollinating across fields, teaching, and learning. A++
What did you like best about the event?
I loved the mix of speakers and events-- there was always something fascinating to see, an interesting person to meet, and something to learn.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I'd just suggest the AV people be familiar with Keynote as a presentation app, and with running presentations off speaker laptops. We had some technical difficulties at the beginning of my talk (that eventually got solved).

SXSW 2022 was incredible!
What did you like best about the event?
The venue locations, the wider location of downtown Austin, the music, the food, the people and Dolly Parton!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Perhaps subsidising the line scooters would encourage visitors to see even more music across the week.

SXSW 2022 was a great way to get exposure to new industry innovations across a wide variety of sectors.
What did you like best about the event?
I liked that I had the opportunity to learn about so many different things while at the conference.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I don't have the answer to how this could be done but it would be nice to know what the hot or big things going on are throughout the event. It's tough in the current app structure to see what's really a bit hit at the conference and what I should make time to see outside of the speakers different activation's etc.

Speed dating-like meetups, lots of stuff going on everywhere
What did you like best about the event?
The number of people I met. It's so inspiring to get to know so many specialists in one place.
