Overall good conference, but lacking sessions and content.
What did you like best about the event?
They first day's keynotes were fantastic. Columbus did a great job hosting and making everyone feel welcome.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The app/website used for the event was hard to navigate and not user-friendly. The general sessions all went over time, making it hard to attend the breakouts. Breakout sessions filled fast, need to have more or larger rooms. Additionally, if vendors will only be in the exhibit hall for the first day, tell attendees that! On the second day, I looked for booths that were no longer there (Southwest and Omaha).

A can't miss experience in the meetings industry!
What did you like best about the event?
Everything felt "bigger" at convening leaders! The networking opportunities were unbeatable, the celebrations throughout the week were unparalleled, and the educational opportunities were thought-provoking and exciting.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Partnering with more hotels for a more equitable experience for all attendees. The partner hotel was costly, and most attendees I talked to had chosen to go outside the block, some even to Airbnb. It's best to have partnerships with hotels of varying costs.

What did you like best about the event?
Due to the pandemic, I loved seeing friends I hadn't seen in years. I like sharing what is affecting my work and learning how to remedy it from my peers.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Accessible videos/ few to none had captions. The risers in the general session room needed railings for safety and accessibility. More diversity in speaker selections. It was a white speaker's agenda.
Did you have a favourite speaker or session? Please tell us below
I really like the Visit Detroit session on Uncomfortable Conversations. I like using eye mask and speaking with colleagues rather than being talked at.

What a fantastic event!
What did you like best about the event?
Adam Grant and Daniel Pink were fantastic. The opening reception, Party with a Purpose, and the John Legend concert all made for a "legendary" experience.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The app was not easy to use or find. It should have been available in the app store instead of a web-based system. It kept failing and needed to be much more intuitive.

Another successful PCMA! Overall good experience, and I enjoyed seeing clients and industry friends in person with no crazy restrictions!
What did you like best about the event?
Seeing clients and industry friends in person. Main stage speakers, opening and closing reception. PWAP!
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The platform for the conference schedule was terrible. It wasn't an app and it was not user friendly. Some of the most popular breakouts needed to be placed in larger space (ie contracting, legal topics). Most of the breakouts I was interested in attending were full. I wouldn't say I like pre-registering for breakouts. While I liked the District area, please do not turn PCMA into a full-blown trade show.

A great way to get the year started right!
What did you like best about the event?
Like many, I didn't have exceptionally high expectations of Columbus as a destination but they really knocked it out of the park! The keynotes, especially the pivot on Wednesday with Daniel Pink, were inspiring.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The app was very difficult to use and ridiculously difficult to find where sessions were. I even stopped and asked several people working the event, and they all said, "it's in the app" or "I don't know." The touchscreen boards had no information on where things were. I don't know if your app is accessibility-friendly but making people rely ONLY on a crappy app to find things is not good.

Highly recommend this conference!
What did you like best about the event?
The learning sessions on the people and planet stage. These sessions took time to build great education content that wasn't focused on selling one product or one destination.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I think larger access to more visible gender-neutral restrooms would have been great.
