"Very well-organized & it's all about the people."

I loved the focus on learning this time. The project booths and tours were a good touch. Colocated events were great, but it’s really the people. You get to meet the community, maintainers, contributors, and users of open-source software. Cloud-native has come a long way, and KubeCon + CloudNativeCon 2024 was one big proof of that. Can’t wait for the next one!

I really liked the opportunity to talk with contributors and experts of the projects that I use every day.

I think Q eu was super well organized. It was um, a huge event space but pretty easy to get around. and lots of places to hang out and relax, which was really nice um, in between all the talks and, um, booth crawling. So overall great experience, had a good time.

Is actually two conferences. There's the trade show where the sponsors are, which is basically its own conference because the sponsors even have internal talks, especially the bigger sponsors. And then there's the conference program with the talks, which they have different levels and not all of them are equally good, but there's a lot of them. So it's usually possible to find something that you're interested in regardless of your level.

Yeah, the the event was great. I totally recommend people going. It was like a very large event with tons of very deep technical sessions, plus access to all the companies that are working behind the project. So if you can attend a coupon, please too.

Great time.
What did you like best about the event?
I really liked the opportunity to talk with contributors and experts of the projects that I use every day.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Sometimes rooms were packed and others were empty. At some conferences, the organizers attribute rooms depending on the number of people saying they will attend (with Sched for example).

What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More maintainer and contributor collaboration would help a lot. It’s tough as these events get larger, but I still think it’s possible.
