It was a fantastic event, very, very well organized, massive scale, a lot of people, great networking opportunity, also multiple stages and forums. And more importantly, I think it's the best way to meet a lot of people under one roof at the same time.

My presence at GITEX was a disappointment. I attended because I wanted to be part of future urbanism. And only to arrive to the event and realize that the city administrations were not there. I only met three very small European cities. I was hoping that the big projects of the Middle East would be on show that there would be city governments all around exhibitions that had something to do with cities in the pavilion of Federal Urbanism. You had, I don't know, people selling electronic appliances. And so I found that this technology fair was not the right place for discussing urbanism issues and that the people that it was there was not the right people to discuss with these issues.

It's a well arranged event which gave me a new perspective on tech exchange in the region.
What did you like best about the event?
The diversity of the attendees and companies. It's also good to know early stage companies in the region and what are they working on.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Make two venues more adjacent to each other. Commute between Expand North Star and the main expo is too long.

What did you like best about the event?
Variety of exhibitors and great networking opportunities. Found relevant business opportunities
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Audience participation in panels was underwhelming. It can be surely done better. Also slightly more closed rooms for panels will make it better

An inspiring very immersive experience.
What did you like best about the event?
The positivity and forward thinking of the attendees and the presentations. The speakers were willing to get into the weeds.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Better organization. Communication amongst a fluctuating schedule was very challenging.

The collisions with people worldwide and exposure to companies in various industries.

Help with networking and meeting like-minded people. For example, suggest people to connect with who might be in the same industry.

A huge networking opportunity with startups all over the world.
What did you like best about the event?
Incredibly well organized, despite the size. Networking was the best part. There were many stages to hear various speakers.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I wish that transportation was available for longer periods at the end of the day since the venue was so far from the nearest train station— a 30-minute walk.

The experience was good, ushers were helpful. I believe it's better than last year. Don't do too many parallel events all at once. The FOMO is overwhelming.
What did you like best about the event?
The diversity of the event. I didn't like northstar, though. I had a booth there and talked at Gitex, but I had to commute a lot. NorthStar wasn't as good as Gitex.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
DevSlam, Ai summit, Northstar, blockchain, deep tech summit, and Gitex in parallel is not cool. Really .. it's overwhelming and causes extra layers of crowdedness.

Disappointed that Future Urbanism did not feature or attract city governments, networks, and experts as speakers (with very few exceptions), exhibitors, or participants.
What did you like best about the event?
The venue was good. The people who supported my participation were handy and responsive.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
To speak about Urbanism, you need city administrators, mayors, experts, and those who were absent. Also, I need to work on the gender balance of speakers: I found myself in two all-male panels!

Not what we paid for seems to be a bait and switch.
What did you like best about the event?
We didn't like the event or the organizers. But on our own effort, we met some interesting, innovative projects.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
We didn't get the impression that the organizers actually cared to have a good experience. It was just about monetizing projects like us without regard.

It is one of the largest tech even in the world. I attend almost every year in order to stay tuned to the latest technology trends.
What did you like best about the event?
The diversity of talks and the level of knowledge of some of the presenters was very fascinating. It gave me a chance to encounter and get to know some new areas that I never explored before.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Most of the talks are very short, and the speaker doesn't get enough time to go deep into the subject. I would prefer to attend more workshops in the future.
