I think it was a decent experience. it was my first time at the World Economic Forum. just for the record, I attended as an indigenous leader and as a curator of the Global Shapers, specifically the Winnipeg Global Shapers Hub, which has a very large indigenous community. Um. Yeah, I, it was as I said, it was my first time, so I had some, you know, some preconceptions, regarding the event in terms of, you know, the, the, I guess, actual outcomes of the event and what I, you know, to tamper, you know, my expectations as to, you know. This will ultimately change the progress of the world, however, going throughout the the week at the foryou know, I, I was profoundly, altered, I'd say, because, yeah, I was rather pessimistic going into it, but out out of it, I, I came out with some some sort of a cautious optimism, and I think that came with not from the. Not from the houses or the a lot of the technological or AI situated, you know, meetings or or what have you, it came from the connections in the networking, and the ability to talk frankly, with those, you know, different, you know, power structures and what have you. So I, I think also it came from talking with other indigenous leaders as well. And that was something I certainly wanted to state in my, I guess review or experience was that there's this need for a new sort of harmony between man and nature, and there was a lot of focus on AI and technology as to that would be the solution for that new harmony. However, from what I saw, and from what I truly believe is that the more we have indigenous representation, the more we have, I guess, a dialogue with traditional ecological knowledge, we can shape a better harmony. So I, I certainly think, you know, that ultimately, I am more cautiously optimistic about the future. going forward, I think, you know, diversity is a strength, and that's something that we need to keep channeling, especially as the world changes in different ways and more, you know, nationalistic ways. I think it's it's crucial to continue to bring new voices and, new identities to the table because that's the only way we're going to move forward with progress. Thank you, Marc.

What did you like best about the event?
The opportunity to connect with young people and indigenous leaders from around the globe.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Putting in more indigenous-centric talks and traditional ecological knowledge in the main pavilion and not just side events. Make it a core mechanic of the forum.
