The recent A BPO offered diverse and interesting content choices for an accountant as a speaker, the stages were well lit and professionally set up with ample seating available. The organizations were open to my topic suggestions and left me to design sessions and select some amazing participants. Each of the sessions ran with a lot of hype energy and positive vibes. The audience were engaged, participate in polling and a roaming microphone, encouraged questions from the audience. I spoke with about a dozen vendors who said they were pleased with the engagement. Several even cheekily told me that they didn't feel like coming in on the second day because they got so many quality leads on the first day. I only as mentioned, I spoke to about a dozen vendors who said that.

The 2022 ABE was a fantastic event, high quality attendees and will recommend to attend again
What did you like best about the event?
Quality of attendees, everyone was very interested in what we did as software vendors. The other exhibitors were also really great to network and chat with
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The scanning and registering of name cards at the beginning was having multiple technical issues, besides that all was great

Interesting event, every practice should send at least one person!
What did you like best about the event?
Getting to see the latest tech releases and upcoming developments was pretty interesting! Also good to hear from peers about how they handle ordinary everyday challenges in the industry.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
There was audio crossover between the speaking zones, a suspended acoustic barrier of some sort (even just some fabric ribbons) would have helped the ability hear and understand the speakers.

The economist debate was very interesting, putting context on the current media fanfare about the economy and getting some predictions with reasoning.

Great experience for my first vendor and speaker
What did you like best about the event?
Very well organised with variety of vendors, speakers, and organising of Terrapin
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More visitors as the numbers were less than 25% of promoted numbers. Am not sure if this was from the organisers not get the registration of visitors correct, or a no-show by registered visitors

What did you like best about the event?
The conference was the first big conference since the pandemic. They did a great job of providing a spacious venue, and covid wary people appeared masked and comfortable with the setup. Very pleased to reconnect with the industry. The venue was filled with happy conversations and kindness, and understanding, after a challenging few years. Diverse and interesting content choices for an accountant. As a speaker the stages were well lit, and professionally set up. Ample seating available. As a speaker, the organisers were open to my topic suggestions and left me to design the sessions, and select some amazing participants. Each of the sessions ran with lots of hype, energy and positive vibes. The audience were engaged, they participated in polling and a roaming microphone encouraged questions from the audience. I spoke with about a dozen vendors who said they were very pleased with the engagement. Several even told me cheekily they did not feel like coming on the second day, because they got so many quality leads on the first day.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Stocked water bottle supply for speakers close to the stage. Microphones on stage occasionally did not work. From the stage, the audience could hear us, but the noise from other speakers surrounded us on the stage which was a bit confusing. Maybe additional barrier panels would help? On the board at the entrance to the sessions, list the speaker's names, so people can make an informed decision. Food was naff. Free options ran out before I got there.
