Hello, the event was really great. I enjoyed Sophie's assistance and the opportunity for us to participate as panel speakers as well. I think the event was well organized and the food options were just simply amazing. I also think there was plenty of time left for the drinks and networking, but I would suggest to do it maybe one hour longer because yeah, maybe there were more people but there was only one or two hours allocated for the time. I think it would be worth to give additional hour for to have some valuable conversations with all of the partners and clients in the area. In general, I look forward to the next year's event. I am planning to attend and thank you. Yeah.

The Australian Wind Energy Conference was a lot of fun

What did you like best about the event?

The people, the equipment, the panels, the regional sessions. It was an excellent event with most of the major wind players attending.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

The app was missing some features, like an accurate map. Also the first day was too long, the last two sessions overlapped with networking drinks, and then we had the dinner where there were two speakers to be heard before the meal was served. It was a bit too much info on one day, also, I was in the last panel, this panel should have been held much earlier because social license was the main theme that emerged from the conference.

The exhibition was good. The presentations were not.

What did you like best about the event?

I enjoyed meeting suppliers in the exhibition hall. It was a good opportunity to expand my network.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

There were too many panel conversations and not enough key note addresses. The panels were also too big, so people were only able to speak superficially about their topics. I was also disappointed to find out that the panel members all paid to be on the panels. They were not invited because of their expertise.

Pleasant overall, relevant topics

What did you like best about the event?

The topics and the high quality of the speakers. The location is also convenient and easily accessible.

What could the organizers do to improve the event?

The Women Net-Zero Platform and a few other programs were run in a small section/corner of the expo area. This came as a shock to the speakers (I am a panelist myself and was also a bit surprised). It is not ideal and should ideally be held in the main/formal area where the other programs were run.
