Great segue back into work conferences!
What did you like best about the event?
A multitude of attendees from different businesses however it was a bit too 3rd party platform heavy.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
More diverse not just platform booths and more merchants if possible to be able to create strong connections

the event was disappointing

seeing my team together was very helpful for all of, and we had a client/prospect dinner which was very productive
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
we needed more advertisers to vendor ratio and a better interaction model. our roundtable was completely ineffective.

Thought leadership. Hearing leaders from companies with strong e-commerce backgrounds was very interesting and insightful.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
It was unclear if you had to register prior to an event or just show up. The food and beverages offered could have been better.

I learned a lot from the show and got a lot of great new software for the business to make us more efficient.
What did you like best about the event?
I really liked the way the show was set up and the speaker series. It was very insightful and helpful to learn from others in the industry.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The only thing I would recommend is trying to get a hotel attached to the show, it was difficult to run back and forth from the Hilton. Nothing else to mention on improvements

Expo hall layout and general organization were also great that neighboring events were close by.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Ensure that popular/well known retailers aren't speaking at the same time as too many other events, and maybe cut down on the number of speaking halls. Retailers said there was too much choice! More healthy food vendors too!

What did you like best about the event?
Easy to follow signage, very helpful staff, everything functioned as intended (A/V, etc.)
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
I was told the workshop was capped at 30 people so I planned for that. There were nearly 50 people in the room, which on one hand was great because there was a lot of energy, but on the other hand, cause me to quickly pivot since the small group exercise I had planned wasn't going to work with that many people.

I had the pleasure of attending Retail Innovation Conference and Expo in Chicago on the 10th. Unfortunately, only for one day, I wish I could have stayed longer. But what I saw was very impressive. The whole layout was incredible. The vendor room, the vendor fair looked just enormous and the room that we were in was great. The lighting and sound were terrific. The audience was really happy to be there. So overall, a very impressive event, great signage as well, which is something I look for. So I hope to be involved even more in the future. Congrats on a successful event.
