I was so lost in engineering-level material that many important factors were overlooked.
What did you like best about the event?
It was convenient as it was online. There was a lot of information, and presenters were very willing to share their materials.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Have some speakers that address the logistics of what battery and electric vehicles look like outside of the theoretical. I was looking forward to the presentation on Ev infrastructure, and the presenter talked more about the battery life cycle than the infrastructure needed to increase the number of EVs. The instructor was offensive when he started talking about jobs that didn’t need a college degree in the field; instead, an associate's degree is all that is necessary. I left and never came back. This mentality leads students to think they need a college degree to be successful and that anyone who doesn’t have one is a lesser person. The trades need people and a great way to make a living. The idea represented here speaks against that reality.
